Until I had my own little family, I don't think I truly appreciated the importance of family. This seems to be a growing problem for the younger generations today since families seem more and more inclined to end up separated. The question is, how does one overcome this? Maybe our social system needs to adapt to the fact that relationships are not working out and find more ways to support them? At the moment the focus seems to be on enabling and acceptance rather than prevention... That's my two cents anyway!
Wish Koën would do cool stuff like crawling around like a caterpillar and say "Mum" over and over when I'm home!!!!
OK, wasn't quite knocked out but Koën's got to that point where he sometimes moves his arms very rapidly. Sometimes resulting in a blow to the face or last night I received a finger in my eye. Hmmm...do they make baby straight jackets? *kidding!*
